The Windows Error 2156 occurs when the computer is executing a COM Transaction Integrator (COMTI) program in a system configured to employ Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). The Windows Error 2156 occurs if the COMTI Remote Environment utilizes a Host Security Domain for Single Sign-On (SSO) support for the sending of bits of security information to the host through the utilization of a Host Account Cache. COMTI must put in the Host Security DLL (Snasii.dll) to utilize SSO for TCP/IP links. COMTI will only put in Snasii.dll if the registry valued for SNAServiceType is equal to 0x1d (Decimal 29). If SNAServiceType has any other value the user will receive the error message.
