The 340 error happens when using the Microsoft Powerpoint program. It often occurs with the 95 Standard Edition the 4.0 Standard Edition and the 4.0a and 4.0c releases. The issue happens when printing a Powerpoint presentation that has embedded objects made via versions 4.0 or 5.0 of the CorelDRAW! program. When the print job is sent to the Genigraphics driver it may result in an error especially if CorelDRAW! is not installed in the system. It happens because printing a presentation to Genigraphics compresses the file. The compression requires information about embedded objects. Since CorelDRAW! is not installed in the system that information is not available thereby resulting in the error.
